The U.S. Art Supply Square/Rectangle Stretched Canvas provides a professional-quality surface for artists. This bulk pack features 100% cotton canvases with a medium grain texture designed to hold paint effectively while maintaining the natural gloss and tone of the media. Each canvas is hand-stretched over 1-1/2 inch warp-resistant kiln-dried pinewood stretcher bars, providing a sturdy gallery depth profile. The canvases are back-stapled to ensure clean edges suitable for hanging without a frame.
For immediate use, each heavy-weight 12-ounce canvas is triple-primed with acid-free acrylic titanium gesso. This specialized priming makes the surface compatible with a wide range of media, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, tempera, and pouring paint. The frames are sourced from environmentally managed forests, offering a lightweight yet durable build for transport or display. These square canvases are suitable for professional studios, educational classrooms, and various artistic environments. Whether working on detailed oil paintings or expansive acrylic pouring projects, these pre-primed surfaces provide the reliability required for professional results.
