This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit usartsupply.com, make a purchase, contact us, or otherwise interact with us. Service providers may use personal information only to provide services to us. Advertising partners may also use information they receive for their own purposes, such as improving their ad products and showing you ads on other websites and apps, under their own privacy policies. That use is why some of this activity may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" under U.S. state privacy laws (see Section 7).

Shopify may also use information about your interactions with our store, together with information from other Shopify stores, to improve its products and services, such as fraud prevention and Shop Pay. Shopify does not share this information with other merchants.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, and tags. These fall into four categories:

  • Strictly necessary: required for the site to work, such as your cart, checkout, security, and recording your consent choices. These are always active. Our customer support chat is also always available.
  • Functionality: remember preferences and power features such as recently viewed products, search, and rewards.
  • Performance: help us understand how the site is used, including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity session recordings and heatmaps.
  • Targeting: used by us and our advertising partners to show you relevant ads and measure ad results.

Your consent

We ask for your consent before using Functionality, Performance, or Targeting cookies, wherever you are located. Until you make a choice, only strictly necessary technologies run. You can accept, decline, or choose by category in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time with the cookie icon in the bottom left corner of any page.

Google Consent Mode

We use Google Consent Mode, which tells Google tags whether you have consented. When you have not consented, Google tags do not set or read advertising or analytics cookies. Some Google tags may still send limited, cookieless signals (for example, that a page was viewed, along with the consent status) that Google uses to model aggregate measurement. These signals do not contain cookie identifiers.

Events sent from our platform

Some partners, including Google, receive certain events (such as purchases) directly from Shopify's servers rather than from your browser. Shopify sends these events according to the consent and privacy choices you have made on our site.

Cookie list

A full list of the cookies and similar technologies we use, grouped by category with their provider, purpose, and retention, appears at the end of this page.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site, such as the cart and checkout, from working.

6. Targeted Advertising

With your consent, we and our advertising partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to show you ads for our products on other websites and apps, build audiences, and measure how our ads perform. You can stop this by declining Targeting cookies in our cookie banner or consent widget, or by opting out on our Your Privacy Choices page.

You can also adjust ad settings directly with these partners:

7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under the CCPA and similar U.S. state laws, disclosing personal information to advertising partners for targeted advertising may be considered "sharing" or a "sale," even when no money changes hands. In the last 12 months, we have shared the following categories with advertising partners: identifiers (online identifiers only), commercial information, internet or network activity, approximate geolocation, and inferences. We do not otherwise sell personal information for money.

You can opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising, in any of these ways:

  • Visit our Your Privacy Choices page and click "Opt out." This opts out the browser and device you are using. You can also enter your email address there to opt out your customer account.
  • Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in a supported browser or extension. We treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser.
  • Contact us using the details in Section 15.

When you opt out, advertising and retargeting tags on our site stop running for that browser, and Google tags are instructed not to personalize ads. Because opt-outs made through the website are stored in your browser, you may need to opt out again if you clear your cookies or use a different browser or device.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

8. Your U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we have collected about you, including the categories, sources, purposes, and recipients
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Obtain a portable copy of your personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (see Section 7)
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable. We use sensitive personal information only to provide our services and as otherwise permitted by law.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for proof of your signed permission and may ask you to verify your identity directly with us.

We will respond to your appeal within the time required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact your state attorney general.

9. Rewards Program: Notice of Financial Incentive

Our U.S. Art Club rewards program lets members earn points on purchases and other activities and redeem them for discounts. To join, you provide your name and email address, and we track your purchases and program activity. This may be considered a financial incentive under California law.

You can join by creating an account and enrolling in the U.S. Art Club, and you can withdraw at any time by contacting us. We believe the value of your personal information to us is reasonably related to the value of the rewards offered, based on the expenses we incur to run the program.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to:

  • Fulfill orders, provide support, and process returns
  • Maintain business, tax, and accounting records
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

As a general guide: order and account records are kept for as long as your account is active and as required for tax and accounting purposes; support communications are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request; marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it; and cookie retention periods are listed in the cookie table at the end of this page.

12. Security

We implement reasonable security measures designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, operational requirements, legal obligations, or regulatory requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
