Cans Made in the USA: Pack of 12 Premium Small 1/2 Pint (8 fl. oz; 1 cup) Unlined Empty Metal Paint Cans with Lids. These durable, sturdy, all-steel unlined paint can tins are an excellent choice for storing, packaging, and transporting oil-based paint and coatings, automotive coatings, solvents, adhesives, mastics, and other viscous products. They are also a great multipurpose bucket for organizing and storing art, crafts, and DIY supplies. Do not use unlined cans with water-based paints.
Superior Quality Cans: These Master Elite Brand cans are constructed with prime-quality electrolytic tinplated steel in accordance with DIN 10202 Norms. They have super strong burst-resistant seams and have a “triple-tight” lid closure to ensure optimal storage and prevent the product from leaking from the can. The cans are factory pressure tested to ensure an airtight, secure seal. Round 1/2-pint unlined metal can dimensions: 2.9" diameter x 2.95" high with the lid on.
Safe and Secure Storage: When used with oil-based paint and solvent-based coatings, these durable, sturdy, leak-proof metal cans resist chemical reactions and corrosion. Note: Do not use these unlined metal cans to store water-based paint, latex coatings, or any liquids containing water, as water will cause rust within the can, ruining the paint. We recommend using rubber mallets for secure lid closure.
Store Leftover Paint: Our premium-quality cans are perfect for storing leftover paint and other finishes after completing a paint job. Our airtight container securely stores them and keeps them fresh and stable for a long time, so they are ready for use later. Storing a partial one-gallon can or a five-gallon bucket of paint or other finish will invariably lead to skinning, making the coating ultimately unusable.
Master Elite offers a wide variety of premium storage cans in many different styles, shapes, and sizes, enabling you to store most types of paint coatings and liquids in the proper can and the appropriate can size. Container styles include lined and unlined metal cans, plastic cans, and mixing buckets. Most cans are available separately and in multi-packs in 1-gallon, 1-quart, 1-pint, 1/2-pint, and 1/4-pint sizes.
