I was called to use Impasto for the first time on a "art project". I was given direct print images from movie scenes in The Irishman. Using Impasto. I brush stroked all the entire image as though I was actually using oil.

Once framed and hung on the walls, with low down-lighting, the prints appeared as though they were true oil paintings. Though a simple idea, the results were far better than I would have imagined.

I am a mixed media artist who uses a lot of different mediums in my work. I stumbled across this brand recently and tried out the clear gel acrylic imposto medium. It is very easy to work with, smooth, dries clear, easily mixes with acrylic paint and gives a nice three-dimensional look to my work. Plus, the price is right.

I used this as my first try at impasto. It was thick but retained color very well. I love the way my art turned out! Also, this rewards program is a great idea. I was going to review anyway but not i get points :)
