36” x 48” self-healing cutting mat

This “non-slip” cutting mat is NOT non-slip.

It is much more slick than other brands of mats that I have used. For this reason, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. However, the markings are clear and easily read.

Awesome Quality - just one problem

Great quality! Thick and Durable! Very Useful Grid! White background that helps me if I want to trace on it! I pulled it out of the box and rolled it the other way and put it back for a day - when I took it out it layed flat almost immediately. The only problem —- I wanted a full 36” x 48”. This is printed with 34” x 46”. The entire mat from edge to edge with borders is only 35” x 47”. That was disappointing, but I can get past it.

Love it!

Fits perfectly on the table my husband made for me. It had a couple of air bubbles keeping it from laying flat but I put a box of heavy fabric on it and the mat now lays completely flat. Very happy with my purchase.

Won’t lie flat.

The size and construction are great. However, after two weeks and a lot of heating with a hairdryer, it still doesn’t lie flat. I don’t know if that will ever happen. I have no place to leave it in the Sun as suggested and the hair dryer only partially effective.
